I decided to go ahead with the discipline of posting each day for one month. The idea came from JelliDonut who has a really engaging blog. Her humor is unsinkable! Good stuff, good reading.
This NaBloPoMo stuff is real. I have been trying to recognize and protect my "inner artist" and a daily ritual can be a spring board into the deeper water.
I want to feel completely comfortable calling myself an artist.

Pesto--awesome! The last time I planted basil, I did it too early and it ended up covered with eight inches of snow. I took that as a sign to embrace my inner slacker and just buy pesto at the grocery story. Now I'm having pesto envy.
