What would we do without our design walls?  Errors do not go unchecked - design flaws can be instantly corrected and we have the inspiration that we sometimes need watching over us - waiting for us.

I am camera-less.  My daughter borrowed both of my cameras to take to Newport ... hopefully I will see them today!
Meanwhile, here are some pieces that never came to fruition.  One has to thank the design wall!
Do you have a tub of 'Might Have Beens'?
Knitting is not exempt from this club!

I think these blocks need to come out of the tub and become pillows, at least. Those red blocks in the second photo are especially fantastic!

Hi Jody! I am so sorry I have been out of touch with everyone the last few weeks. I am feeling much better now and am almost back up to my normal speed. I am so sorry to hear about Bubba and I think your quilt was one of the most beautiful tributes to love that I have ever seen. What a precious and thoughtful gift for your daughter. I know she will treasure it always. I don't have a design wall, but I drape everything across the dress form I have in my little studio. I pin things on her, spin her around and look at it from all directions. Having that three dimensional aspect, has helped me so much creatively. I hope that you are having a nice evening tonight! Delisa :) P.S. I love the new blog design it feels so shady cool and summery. It was so hot here to today. 99 with 110 heat index!

I really like what was on your design wall that didn't make it to completion. And I love your knitting projects. Right now I'm only knitting for my dolls. One day, I'll make something for me. But then again, don't know if I'd ever wear it because it doesn't get that cold where I am for long.
