My workroom faces east. The morning light is exquisite here. I can see the tips of the Berkshire mountain range and a sliver of the Hudson River.
All of my projects are bathed in pools of light, reminding me of maple syrup, in a dish.
Avoiding my room during the work week is essential. If I slip in, I'll have to call in!
What quilter worth her salt wouldn't trade a day of fiber with a day of computers?
Truth be told, I think about retirement every single day! I could stay home and make lots of these -
I wonder if I could support my fabric addiction myself with my creations! Here is my latest mantra -

Hi Jody, your work room is so beautiful and inviting. I love the description you used about maple syrup in a dish! I feel the same way about my little room. Once I am in there and working with my music on, time just ceases to exist. Have a lovely weekend ahead and have fun with your quilting! Delisa :)
Hi Jody, just me again, I was out and about and thought I would pop over and say hello! I hope you are having a nice sunday. It sure has been hot here today. I have been enjoying being inside in the air conditioning working on my tapestry. I am hoping to have it completed sometime this week. Barkley has been happy to be indoors with me and has been playing with his toys at my feet. We had some friends that came over yesterday with their children and they all played with Barkley for hours. I think he was glad to have some quiet time today! He is so gentle with children and let them do anything they wanted to do. They were dressing him up and piling stuffed animals on his back and he just sat their wagging his tail and smiling! :) In the evening we went out to dinner at a Scottish Pub. It was something really different and I enjoyed it a lot. I even played darts. I hadn't picked one up since I was a girl and I didn't know if I would even be able to hit the board. But I didn't do half bad and even beat a couple of my friend's husbands! :) Have a lovely and restful evening ahead, Delisa :)
Spot on! I love your bags.
I love your latest mantra! I have never seen that one before.
All of your projects, are so beautiful. I am so happy to see that it can still give you joy and solace as it does us just by looking at them!! Hugs!!!
