WHEN SYSTEMS FAIL

Applications failed to load this morning.  Some coworkers indulged in computer games.  Not I -
Progress is slow on the Wing of the Moth shawl, but steady.  This malabrigo lace is so fine and weightless that it feels like a whisper beneath the needles.  This will be my third shawl and it occurs to me that I haven't introduced the other two on this blog - probably because they are in constant use!

I finished my hat made with Rowan Cocoon.  One of the students promised to model it later today, but here's a little close up until she arrives:
(it's sitting on my lap)  The Cocoon has just the right amount of mohair to provide a thick and impossibly warm knit.  I get over heated just THINKING about wearing it!  Luckily, it is to be a gift.

Are you going to edge Wing of the Moth in another color or keep it solid?

OMGoodness! I'm so glad you found ME, because now I've found YOU. Look at all we have in common. I open up the blog and see a sunflower (my favorite flower of gratitude) and then I see flame colors and quilts and dogs. Yay! I have subscribed to your posts through my Google Reader.

I remember that about the malabrigo when I knit my shawl. I think it looks fabulous. Love that orange.
