Everyone brings him one as a present and he never tears them up, that is why he has such a large collection! :)

Then if they do by some chance, get a little rip or tear, my mother-in-law takes them upstairs to her room; also known as the "stuffed animal hospital", where she sews them back up! :)

We typically give him human toys that do not have the "hard eyes". They are made much better than the animal toys and are usually bigger and less expensive. He still has his little lamb that I got him the first day we brought him home when he was just 10 weeks old.

Have a nice evening Jody and please give Harley a big golden hug! It will be a wonderful winter knitting these. Everyone should get this book.Paulinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14770309227922834968noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2593065940685995052.post-82994382050982391792011-10-03T15:59:35.398-07:002011-10-03T15:59:35.398-07:00So sad to miss Rhinebeck year after year - have gr...So sad to miss Rhinebeck year after year - have great memories of exhibiting with the rug hookers in the autumn-brisk sheds... still working on some hooked rugs.
Love looking at all your knitting - vicarious accomplishment for me - : )

In my mind, I am giving Harley a little petting on his red-head!

Wearing the the greysnuggle you sent right this moment. She has so much expression in those pretty brown eyes, my goodness! It just seems like yesterday I went to pick out Barkley.

Beautiful sock too, I know what you mean, it is hard to put down some patterns. Last night I knitted long past the point of sanity. My fingers are so so stiff and sore today. The yarn was just striping in so many interesting ways, and I kept saying, just one more finger..(I'm in my glove making phase now!) :) I really like this sock pattern and lace like ribbing on the cuff.

Maybe you will be able to finish your orange sweater in time for the knitting event. You are an incredibly prolific knitter! I know what you mean though, it is always more fun to wear something handmade to a yarn event. Do you have a scarf and hat set maybe that you finished and folded away last spring? If not wear a pair of your socks, and lift up your pants leg nonchalantly every once in awhile and model them! I know I would! :) I hope you have a good work week ahead and a lovely morning! Delisa :)Delisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00793953725620270977noreply@blogger.com
