Great quilt. I love the "water" fabric borders. And the fact that the backdrop of a summery sailboat quilt is your snowy yard! But my sis in NYS says the days are changing and she can tell that Spring is on its (slow) way...soon, soon...and then before you know it there will be LILACS!!!!!!! =-)
Why are needle people SO nice...Some of the best people (women) that I have met on blogs are needlefolk..and i can't even sew on a button. But I connect to something in them. Some driving force of joy. so happy you stopped in at my place and left a calling card...I notice that my favorite Bee is a friend of yours...I like her very much...another joy sister the world needs more of gals like us Your post about your father was...how can I express it.....noble- and full of love You have an easy way of writing..I like that I have a quirky way of writing....dashes, short lines...stops and gaps.. faulty punctuation..like I'm talking to ya Which I guess I am I want to know more about the lady who saves horses, sheep and donkeys.... Cute quilt! but then all your work is amazing! and the shawl is looking good. I haven't made that one yet (still working on socks, lol)
